Queries on the workshops
Are your classes held in person or online?
Most of our courses are held in person (subject to prevailing health measures), as it is more conducive to the learning experience.
Will attendance be taken, and do I need to attend all the sessions?
We highly encourage participants to attend all sessions due to the intensive nature of the classes. We take attendance for purposes of accountability for participants paying by their company or SkillsFuture credit.
Will there be make-up sessions if I miss a class due to work or illness? Will I be granted a refund?
We do not offer makeup sessions or refunds for missed classes, but we can offer a non-transferable credit on a case-by-case basis, which can be used for another course of your choice at Objectifs. There will be no refunds for courses of lower value, and you will be responsible for the difference for higher value courses. You will need to sign up for a course within 6 months from the date of cancellation. However, placement in the course is not guaranteed.
What do I have to bring for the first lesson?
You will receive an email before the first lesson to remind you about class and to inform you about what to bring.
What is the demographic of your classes?
The participants are usually of varying ages, ranging from adults to the occasional student.
What will be covered during the courses?

Will I receive certification after the workshop is completed?
We can issue you a certificate of participation after the course ends upon request. However, please note that as Objectifs is an arts center, and not an academic institution, this is not equivalent to a degree or diploma.
Queries on equipment required for the workshops
Do I need equipment to enrol in the Digital Filmmaking course?
No. We have camera, audio equipment, as well as Macs with Adobe Premiere Pro installed for the editing sessions available for participants’ to loan out in groups during the period of the course. The camera and audio equipment are available for loan with a refundable deposit of $100 per participant, which will be returned to you when the equipment is returned to us in good condition and within the stated time period.
Do I need a camera to enrol in the Basic Photography course? What type of camera should I use if I am intending to purchase a camera for the course?
You will need a DSLR, mirrorless or compact camera with manual setting for the workshop. If you have not purchased your camera before the workshop begins, we recommend that you attend the first session, and speak to the instructor. Objectifs has limited number of cameras for loan (with a refundable deposit with the return of equipment in good condition) for the first session.
Do I need to bring a laptop for the Adobe Premiere Pro CC or Adobe After Effects CC workshops?
We have Macs with Adobe Premiere Pro installed for the editing sessions available for participants to use during the period of the course. However, you may feel free to bring your own laptops with the software or the trial of the software installed if you wish.
Do you have Windows computers available for workshop participants?
Unfortuantely, we only have Macs available at our centre.
Queries on registration procedures
What is the deadline for registration?
While there are no application deadlines, our courses have limited slots. We encourage you to apply and confirm your spot as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
I would like to sign up for a private, customised course for a small group, is this possible?
We offer customised classes round the year for groups and corporations. While course fees are higher for private sessions, we can customise the curriculum, schedule and class size to better suit your organization’s needs. We do not currently offer one-on-one private sessions. Please email us at

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend a workshop that I have already paid for?
We can process refunds or transfers if a request is submitted at least 24hrs before the start of the workshop, after which no refund will be granted.
Are international applicants accepted?
Yes. However, please note that as Objectifs is an arts center, and not an academic institution, you will not be able to enter Singapore on a student visa. We recommend that you apply for a social visit visa. Please visit the Singapore Tourism Board website (https://www.visitsingapore.com/en/) for details on visitor requirements. You will be responsible for arranging your own accommodation, flight tickets and/or any other travel related expenses.

What payment modes do you accept?

I wish to use SkillsFuture to pay. What is the process?
Who can apply? – Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above only. Not eligible for PRs.

Do I need to pay out of pocket if I use Skillsfuture? – No, Skillsfuture will pay us directly.
How much Skillsfuture Credit can I use for the course? – You will need to log into the Skillsfuture portal with your Singpass to check your account balance. If you have sufficient funds to cover the full course fees, you may claim the full amount. If not, you may choose to claim a partial amount, and pay the rest out of pocket.
Are there any additional subsidies available for aged 45 and above?
No, our courses are only eligible for Skillsfuture Credits.
Are your courses eligible for Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)?
No, our courses are only eligible for Skillsfuture Credits.
Are your courses eligible for Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support)?
No, our courses are only eligible for Skillsfuture Credits.
What is the payment procedure if my company is making payment on my behalf?
Please fill in the “billing to company” section on the registration form on the respective course page, with the relevant details. Alternatively, you may email us at
