The Objectifs Trainee Programme seeks to develop the diverse capabilities of arts administrators, to support the work of Objectifs and the Singapore arts sector. The Trainee will work closely alongside our education and programming team, and gain experience in project and arts management, photography and film education, and community building. Through the Trainee Programme, we hope to offer trainees insights into working in a non-profit visual arts organisation.
The Trainee Programme is a full-time position, and trainees are expected to be fully committed to the role for the duration of the programme. Trainees must be prepared to work in a variety of situations and be comfortable working in a small team environment. A monthly trainee stipend is provided for the duration of the programme.

Your Responsibilities
As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with the Objectifs team to:
• Assist with photo/video documentation of events for archival and marketing purposes
• Assist in administrative and logistical support for our programmes, which include exhibitions, screenings, talks and networking sessions
• Support our workshops and educational activities as an administrative and teaching assistant
You will be required to work about 40 hours per week, including certain weeknights and weekends. Trainees will be provided a monthly stipend of $1,000. If you require time off during this training period, please include that dates that you will be unavailable in your application cover letter; the stipend will be pro-rated based on the numbers of days worked.
Eligibility
1. Opened to Singaporeans and Singaporean PRs.
2. Applicants do not need to have an arts or arts management background to apply. Applicants should have a keen interest in the visual arts and arts management, and we expect applicants to demonstrate some knowledge of the programmes produced at Objectifs.
3. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, photography and videography is an advantage.
4. We welcome applications from fresh graduates and those exploring a mid career switch.
